Opis kursu

ENGLISH CAMP FOR TEENAGERS 11 -18 YEARS OLD

This is a fantastic all-inclusive package for teenagers to learn English and to have fun in the sun too!
Students stay for a minimum two-week period at the campus on a full-board basis. It is a great opportunity for young people to make new friends, develop excellent learning skills and to exchange information about other countries using a common language of communication.
Students attend 20 lessons of 50 minutes of English each week. Lessons are in mixed- nationality groups of maximum 15 students but usually less than 15. After breakfast, students go to class which starts at 9 am in the morning and there are 4 lessons a day till 1pm. There are 2 breaks of 15-20 minutes. The emphasis is on conversational English to develop communication skills even during the breaks.
Teenagers 15+ have also the possibility to book 20 IELTS exam preparation lessons per week instead of General English.
We have also developed and created unforgettable activity program with excursions. Students will have the time of their lives with us! Since the language of the school is English, all our fantastic activities are conducted in English too, so learning goes on both in the classroom and outside with fantastic wide range of unforgettable free activities or performances.

DAY CAMP
For children who do not stay at the student accommodation camp but in other hotels with their parents, we offer the possibility to join one of our summer day camps .This includes English lessons in the morning and for activities in the afternoon. Teenagers can join in some of our evening activities, too. Children receive a hot lunch from Monday to Friday with children from ESSC School at each campus. They may also have the evening meal, for an extra cost. Teenagers can also join our weekend excursions (pack lunch is not provided for this option).

English Sunny School of Cyprus została założona w 2000 roku i była pierwszą międzynarodową szkołą letnią na Cyprze. Nasza szkoła od 17 lat oferuje doskonałą naukę języka angielskiego międzynarodowym studentom na Cyprze. Ponadto English Sunny School of Cyprus to międzynarodowy oddział dla zagranicznych studentów Xenia Tsolaki Metaxa Private Institute zatwierdzony przez Cypriot Tourism Organisation i akredytowany przez stowarzyszenie ELSAC.
Wszyscy rodzimi nauczyciele anglojęzyczni są w pełni wykwalifikowani i mają duże doświadczenie w prowadzeniu kursów dla mieszanych narodowości. Są w stanie w pełni wykorzystać potencjał międzykulturowy swoich uczniów i zachęcają do współpracy i komunikacji. Narodowości są mieszane, więc interakcja na lekcji odbywa się zawsze w języku angielskim. Idea szkoły opiera się na założeniu, że lekcje mogą być zabawne i interesujące, a jednocześnie dynamiczne i edukacyjne.

Lokalizacja

Od 2015 roku mamy przyjemność prowadzić lekcje w naszej nowej szkole. Szkoła jest maksymalnie 15 minut spacerem od zakwaterowania dla studentów. Nastolatki chodzą razem do szkoły, ale młodzi uczniowie mają zapewniony transport. Obok szkoły znajduje się sklep z przekąskami. Do plaży jest zaledwie 5 minut.

Sale lekcyjne

Wszystkie sale są klimatyzowane i mają dostęp do Wi-Fi, jeśli lekcje obejmują korzystanie z Internetu i tworzenie projektów. Studenci często proszeni są o tworzenie własnych projektów i prezentacji w grupach w celu rozwijania umiejętności pracy w zespole.
 Dorośli mają lekcje w grupach maksymalnie 12 uczniów, młodzi studenci w wieku 6-11 lat mają lekcje w mini grupach po 4–8 uczniów. W grupie nastolatków jest 11-15 uczniów na klasę.

Pakiet powitalny

Uczniowie otrzymują zeszyty i długopisy naszej firmy do robienia notatek w klasie oraz arkusze ćwiczeń, które są umieszczane w plikach. Dlatego każdy uczeń ma sweje osobiste notatki w szkole.

Pierwszy dzień i ostatni dzień

Studenci przystępują do testu kwalifikacyjnego wkrótce po przyjeździe i przydzielani są do zajęć zgodnie z ich poziomem. Wszyscy studenci przystępują do testu na koniec pobytu i otrzymują certyfikat.

Rozkład zajęć

Poranne zajęcia dla dzieci, nastolatków i dorosłych: 20 lekcji tygodniowo po 50 minut (nie 45 jak w innych szkołach, więc uczniowie mają dodatkowe 100 minut tygodniowo!)
Od 9:00 do 12:50 z 2 przerwami.

The lessons were intense, progressive and adapted to my needs.

Thanks to the school it was possible tin the afternoon to do kite surfing for me pleasure.

THE ESSC CAMPUS

The ESSC campus is located in the Moniatis Hotel,

which is situated in a beautiful area of Limassol, close to the Yermasoyia Dam and river. It is in a quiet, residential area of Yermasoyia with a wide variety of amenities nearby – local supermarket, bakery, restaurants, coffee shop, pharmacy and mini football fields. It is a family owned and run hotel and the staff are intent on providing the best service that this 3 star accommodation can offer.

ROOMS

The rooms are twin and triple with comfortable extra beds. In the hotel, there are 4 family rooms which have one bedroom, a living room, one bathroom and 2 toilets so they can accommodate up to 4 students. All rooms have air-conditioning and a balcony. The hotel has two floors with access between floors by stairs or lift. Single rooms are available on request for an extra charge.

PUBLIC AREAS

The reception area is staffed 24/7 and there is a snack bar which serves drink and snacks throughout the day. Outside, there is the hotel swimming pool and a small paddling pool for young children. Around the pool there is an area for sun bathing and a large green area for games and relaxing.

MEALS

Students eat their breakfast and evening meal at the hotel. They have a hot lunch at the school from Monday to Friday, after classes and before the start of the afternoon activities. During the excursions, they will be provided with a packed lunch and on Sunday lunch will be served at the hotel.

For breakfast there is a typical English buffet with bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, baked beans, bread, yogurt, butter, marmalade, halloumi, cheese, ham and turkey as well as other hot and cold food and drinks.

Supper is a buffet service and there is a wide variety of international and local dishes. There are salads, 3 main courses (meat and fish) with 3 accompanying dishes and a sweet dessert or fresh fruits.

Special diets can be catered for by requesting at the time of booking and also by contacting our staff in resort.
