Opis kursu

Located in the stunning alpine village of Braunwald, in the canton of Glarus, the friLeadership Camp offers an empowering and transformative experience for young learners in the heart of the Swiss Alps. This car-free mountain destination, surrounded by breathtaking nature, forests, and panoramic views, provides an ideal setting for adolescents to develop key leadership and entrepreneurial skills while enjoying a vibrant and engaging summer.

The camp’s programme is delivered entirely in English, and is designed to help participants build confidence, creativity, and real-world problem-solving skills through interactive modules centred on entrepreneurship, team building, and leadership development. Instead of traditional classroom lessons, students take part in dynamic challenges such as the Shark Tank Pitch, collaborative projects like the Unconference, and creative events that foster leadership qualities and personal growth.

In addition to the structured leadership modules, the camp comes alive with an exciting afternoon and evening schedule filled with outdoor adventures, interactive workshops, team games, and excursions that take full advantage of Braunwald’s unique alpine environment. Activities are supervised by experienced and attentive staff who create a supportive and motivating atmosphere for every participant.

Participants stay in comfortable shared accommodation with welcoming common areas that encourage social interaction and cultural exchange. Full-board meals are provided, ensuring healthy and balanced dining throughout the stay.

Braunwald is a peaceful and accessible destination, ideal for children’s and teenagers’ camps. Its car-free environment allows students freedom of movement and safety, while excellent transport connections from major Swiss cities make travel easy.

Opis szkoły

Leysin słynie z międzynarodowych szkół i kosmopolitycznej atmosfery. Poza językiem ojczystym, jakim jest francuski, angielski jest często słyszany w Leysin, ze względu na dużą brytyjską i amerykańską społeczność emigrantów. Istnieje również znana szkoła hotelowa z uczniami z całego świata, a także szkoła amerykańska.
Zajęcia odbywają się w grupach po 6 osób. Małe grupy zapewniają skuteczne środowisko uczenia się dostosowane do indywidualnych potrzeb. Możesz wybierać pomiędzy lekcjami francuskiego, angielskiego i niemieckiego. Zajęcia odbywają się od poniedziałku do piątku w godzinach 9-12.30.
W hotelu znajduje się kryty basen, sauna i sala fitness. Tutaj można korzystać z różnych form spędzania wolnego czasu, relaksować się lub bawić w alpejskim otoczeniu i cieszyć się pięknym widokiem na góry i pobliski lodowiec.

I liked this very much, because i love this language and this feeling. The teachers were happy, funny, good and more.

The location was a hotel in the mountains, but it had a good panorama.
The activities were different and very good. The most of the activities were sporty and creative.

I liked all of this camp.

"The weeks there were great, full of fun and nice trips."

The teachers were very friendly and nice also in the classes we had a great time we laughed learned and enjoyed the time together. The location was fantastic! The view is beautiful from the hotel and the village was lovely also the people there! We did many activities for example hiking, swimming, basketball football etc. also the people in the camp were so nice!!! I found many new friends and very good friends! And last but not least the camp leader SEBASTIAN he is very nice friendly Funny and the best camp leader at all!

"The best way to learn and have fun at the same time."

So when my Mom first told me, that i had to go to Leysin for 2 weeks, i wasn't really happy about it, but i met so many amazing people in this camp. I am now happy that my mom sent me there. Also, the teachers were very friendly, and they knew how to teach us right. I've learned a lot in the camp and my French grade went from a 4.4 to a 5.4, so you can see how good the teachers are :)

I think the reason why I've learned so much was also because the teachers didn't only teach us they did a lot of stuff with us when we didn't have school. Also, the activities we did in the camp were absolutely amazing. We played Lazer Tag, went swimming, and other things. It was always loads of fun and relaxing after school.

The hotels where I slept were amazing, for real now. The bed was comfy and clean. and the food was delicious. Up there it says "say what you didn't like", but there's nothing I didn't like.

The camp is amazing and I would visit it again and again. :)
