FRANÇAIS À LA CARTE : FORFAIT ÉCRIT

Although I think there was a mismatch regarding the level of the class—since I am very much a beginner, the lessons were sometimes too difficult for me—I still enjoyed the experience a lot. Thanks to the skilled and patient teachers, as well as the friendly colleagues in the classroom, I could follow the lessons. I especially appreciated the teachers’ teaching style. It was very persuasive. The people I met were very kind, which made the atmosphere both encouraging and enjoyable.

The classrooms we used were not brand new, but they were cozy, clean, and comfortable enough for studying. One small thing I think could be improved would be the addition of a small library or even a bookshelf with French books and grammar references. Having easy access to such materials would make it even more convenient for students to spend extra time with the language.

Regarding housing, I arranged my own accommodation at a hostel near the school.

For me, this was the first time visiting Lille, and I found the city very attractive, easy to walk around, and friendly. The school is located in the city centre, only about a 5 or 10 min. walk from the lively shopping district. The area is very convenient yet not overly noisy, which made it an ideal place to study.

Overall, I had a very fruitful summer week. I would like to come back in the future to continue learning the language at this place.
